Cairo Water Company continues the extension of drinking water pipe beneath Maddi Underground

Dr. Abdel kawi the Chairman of HCWW said that the extension of drinking water pipe beneath Maddi Underground "Metro" had been secured the from western side to eastern side with depth 6.5m, soil was injected with basaltic materials, which help in cohesiveness of soil ,and prevent the landing and loosening of soil beneath the Underground (Metro). There was good coordination with Metro Authority to reduce the speed of trains in working areas till works had been completed. The working group was included 5 engineers and 20 workers, as soil mechanics has been made.
